Sarah Byrne had five of the team’s 14 homeruns in the four-game sweep over Fort Lewis. Four of those homeruns came in the first two games of the series. She finished the weekend with nine hits on 12 at-bats with no strikeouts. She also had four walks, but three of those were intentional because of her heavy hitting. She posted a .750 hitting percentage with a .812 on-base percentage and 2.167 slugging percentage. Byrne also did six innings of pitching. She struck out three batters and gave up only two earned runs.
