WNMU senior volleyball student-athlete Schalicia was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week. This was Degase's first Player of the Week honor while at WNMU. Degase only recorded seven digs in the quick victory over New Mexico Highlands, but she bounced back with huge defensive stops the next night. Against Adams State, Degase led the Mustangs defensively with 24 digs. She finished the weekend with 5.17 digs per set as the Mustangs won both matches on the road.
