Emily Huhta (Albuquerque, NM, Manzano High School, Lamar Community College) was a perfect 4-0 last week in the pitching circle. The Mustangs took three of four games from Chadron State last Tuesday and Wednesday and then swept UC-Colorado Springs over the weekend.  Huhta recorded a team and personal high of 11 strikeouts on Saturday in game one.  Of the five pitchers this season, Huhta leads the team in strikeouts with 29 and wins with five.  Twenty-two of the strikeouts came just last week.  She also has the lowest ERA with 2.48.   The Mustangs are now 7-1 in conference play.  WNMU is 6-0 when they score more than 10 runs and 7-2 when they score first.
