Junior Glynnis Price (Shiprock, NM, Shiprock High School, University of New Mexico) shot great for the women’s golf team on Saturday at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Arizona. She posted a first round total of 78. She slipped in the standings a bit on Sunday (80) but still set the pace for the Mustangs to end with a 15-over par 159, in a tie for 17th with UC Riverside’s Amelia Ek and Portland’s Avery Collura. Overall, WNMU turned in a solid 322 the first day and finished day one in a tie for fifth place in the 19-team, predominately Division I, invitational. The Mustangs then added 21 strokes on day two, 343, to finished 12th overall. WNMU finished ahead of six NCAA Division I schools.
