Last Thursday senior Justin Williams (Phoenix, AZ, Paradise Valley High School, Phoenix College) didn’t lead in scoring, but he made it up in assists. He produced 11 handouts while committing only two turnovers. This was the second game in a row that he posted 11 assists. In the win over Mines, Williams tallied eight points. He also tied two other teammates for high rebounds with five. In the thriller Saturday night over Christian, the senior shot 50 percent from the floor and made 10 of his 14 free throws. He recorded 26 points to lead all scorers. He also posted three caroms and five assists. On the season, Williams averages 6.0 assists and 13.5 points per game.
