East recorded 86 assists, 25 digs, 10 kills, and two blocks to help Western New Mexico win two matches over the weekend. She tallied team highs with four service aces versus Lubbock Christian and three more versus Texas-Permian Basin. As a team, they averaged 1.8 aces per set. East had nearly half of those. She also led the team in assists. Her best came versus Permian Basin when she handed out 29. Overall, the team hit .120 this weekend with her as a setter. She ended the weekend with a place on the Lady Buff Classic All-Tournament Team.
