St. Mary’s (KS): Coplan played at Saint Mary’s in Kansas for the past two years. During her sophomore year, Coplan played in 50 games, starting 43. She compiled a .288 batting average, 44 hits, a double, two triples and 14 RBI. She added 23 walks and 14 stolen bases. Coplan posted a season-high in hits with three against both Concordia (Neb.) and Southwestern (KS). As a freshman, she saw action in 56 games, starting 50. She tallied a .355 batting average, 44 hits, four doubles, a triple and 22 RBI. She also added 17 walks and 35 stolen bases. Coplan posted a four-hit game against Sterling (KS) and had six games with at least two steals.

High School: During her senior season at Snowflake she tallied a .392 batting average, 40 hits, 34 RBI and 42 runs scored. Coplan added seven doubles, a triple and three home runs.
