Gillmer from Boksburg, South Africa, where he graduated from Jeppe High School in 2018. He was then recruited to play at Barton Community College from 2018-2020.

Major: Kinesiology
Hobbies: Listening to music (EDM and rock), reading, being active, playing soccer, rugby, and cricket. 
Fun Fact: He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa
Aspirations: Gillmer has hopes of continuing to play tennis professionally and eventually become a coach once graduating from WNMU.
