Biography
WNMU (2015): Chacon came out ready to start the fall season leading the team at the Joe Vigil Open when she posted a team-best time of 20:01.08 to come in 22nd. Although Guadalupe Cantoran led the Lady Mustangs in the final four meets, Chacon was usually right behind. She was just a few seconds back of Cantoran placing 61st at the Aztec Invitational, crossed in 89th place at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, just missed out on the top-10 at the Thunderbird Classic grabbing a time of 19:46.7 to land in 12th. She then closed the fall season coming in 61st at the RMAC Championships. Chacon closed the spring season strong as in her final meet at the Triton Invite she posted a new personal-best time of 19:20.94. She did well in the classroom compiling a 3.54 GPA which helped her be named to the All-RMAC Academic-Team.
