Enid Sanchez

Enid Sanchez begins her third year as an assistant coach with the Mustangs after spending the past few seasons at East Texas Baptist University. Her primary duties include monitoring academic progress, developing and implementing the basketball skill development program and overseeing the women's basketball strength and conditioning programs.

"Coach Sanchez is a huge asset to our program, her knowledge, hard work, and ability to teach the game never fail to impress me on a daily basis."

At East Texas Baptist, she sat out the entire 2011-12 season due to injury, but came back to start every game the following year and was the team's leading three-point shooter. She graduated this past May with a bachelor's in athletic training.

Prior to East Texas Baptist, she played for coach Kennedy at Clarendon College during the 2008-09 season and completed her associate's in science.

She began her college career at Lamar Community College where she was the leading scorer.

She graduated from Clint High School in 2007.
