This is Sasarogs's first season at WNMU.
Prior to WNMU: Sasaroga, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, comes from UT Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) where she played all four of her collegiate seasons for the Vaqueros.
While at UTRGV Sasaroga was a member of the women's tennis team from 2018-2022. She currently ranks 8th all-time in program history with 37 career doubles wins. In her final season as a Vaquero, Sasaroga would compile a record of 4-7 in singles and 7-4 in doubles, her best year in doubles, with two different partners. Her best year in singles would be her sophomore year, where she finished 6-5. Her overall record at UTRGV is 20-41 in singles and 37-41 in doubles.
Upon graduation, Sasaroga finished with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Before she attended UTRGV, Sasaroga would play Prep Tennisin Sweden. In 2017 she won the Meridiana Open in Novi Sad, Serbia and also helped her club team win a championship. In 2015, Sasaroga traveled to Florida to compete in three tournaments as she won the Candy Lake Championship while falling in the finals of the other two. In 2013, she was ranked 16th in Sweden and 3rd in her region.
