Mustangs Fall to Lady Chaps

Lubbock, TX- The Mustangs took on opponent Lubbock Christian on the road this Saturday Afternoon. Lubbock Christian would come out on top with a final score of 67-50.
 
Diamond Moore (Colorado Springs, CO/Harrison High School) led the Mustangs going 8-of-18 ending with 17 points, adding 10 rebounds. Susi Namoa (Lahaina, Hawaii/Lahainaluna High School) would give the Mustangs 12 points and 5 rebounds.
 
The Mustangs would have a very strong start holding a lead against LCU, ending quarter one with a tied score of 10-10. WNMU would go 21-of-68 (30.9%) from the field and 6-of-9 (66.7) from the free-throw line.
 
WNMU would force LCU to nine turnovers, three of those being steals. Rodgers, Simon, and Paniora would all end with one steal.
 
Grace Foster was the lead scorer for the Lady Chaps with 14. Reese Schumann (10), Audrey Spurgin (9).

The Mustangs will be back home on Drags court January 19th at 5:30 PM MT facing Texas A&M Kingsville.
