Silver City, NM – It took just one hour and five minutes for the Western New Mexico volleyball team to sweep Panhandle State and move to 21-4 (8-1 HC) on the season.

With this win, it further improves their stranglehold of the of the top of the Heartland Conference volleyball standings.

WNMU took the games 30-13; 30-15; 30-18 from Panhandle, who remains winless during the 2005 campaign at 0-28 (0-8 HC).

Stephanie Higgins (Biggsville, IL/) led WNMU offensively with 20 kills.

The two teams will square off again Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm
