Junior Glynnis Price
WNMU slipped seven spots to 12th Sunday at the Red Rocks Invitational held in Sedona, Arizona. The Mustangs could not produce the great numbers they did on day one (322) and added 21 strokes to their day two total (343). They did, however, finish ahead of six NCAA Division I schools. Northern Arizona came back from five strokes down to win the invitational by four strokes over Cal Poly. NAU posted a tournament-best 301 in the final round to finish at 613.

WNMU's Glynnis Price (Shiprock, NM, Shiprock High School, University of New Mexico) finished 15-over par 159 in a tie for 17th with UC Riverside's Amelia Ek and Portland's Avery Collura. Carissa Schwalm (Las Cruces, NM, Mayfield High School) was not far behind Price with an additional three shots, finishing tied for 27th. She posted rounds of 80 and 82 for a 162.

Freshman Haley Raymond (Socorro, NM, Socorro High School) was tied for 71st at 171 with seven other participants. Faylyn Beyale (Fruitland, NM, Kirtland Central High School) and Megan Megan Downey (Glendale, AZ, Sandra Day O'Connor High School) rounded out the Mustangs scores with a 85th and 88th place respectively.

NAU defeated Cal Poly 613-617 with Portland (638), Eastern Michigan (641) and Xavier (641) rounding out the top five teams in the field. Portland's Paige Rachor won the individual title with a five-over par 149, finishing with an even-par 72 in the final round. She defeated a pair of Cal Poly golfers, Maddy Fletcher and Kristen Locke, who finished a stroke back at 150.
