WNMU freshman volleyball student-athlete
Ziona Verhulsdonk (Kailua, HI, Hawaii Preparatory Academy) has been named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Monday. This is WNMU's first Player of the Week honor this year.
Verhulsdonk led the Mustangs this week in kills with 3.67 kills per set (25-5-52) for a .405 hitting percentage. She recorded 24.5 points and averaged 4.08 points this weekend. In one set against Adams State, she had eight kills off of 12 attempts. She added eight assists in the match against ASC, and posted 10 kills, three assists, and a block against CSU-Pueblo (W, 3-0).
