"The team practices at the city-owned golf course here. While it's only medium-length, it is above-average in difficulty and is generally in good condition..
You have to be able to hit the ball straight and think well to be able to qualify to travel at this golf course. Honestly, it's not an outstanding layout, but it is by no means a ranch ... it's well maintained. But if you shoot a good score here, you've played a good round of golf.
The school's practice facility at the course offers a good situation if you want to improve your game. We have our own tee (16,000 sq ft.) at the driving range plus a separate short game area, two putting greens, practice bunkers and, if need be, a nice area for wedges on campus. An indoor facility on campus is also in its beginning stageÂ
I wish I could tell you that we have several courses in town and we can choose any of the them, but that's not the case. We travel on the weekends in the early Fall and Spring for qualifying just to break things up.
Club repair, video analysis, deep discounts on equipment are available to our players. The course, plus the practice facility, will give virtually any college player an environment he/she can improve in -- if they make to the course with some regularity."
