How good is the team?

5842Coach Beatty says:

"The women have been to the post season 10 of the past 25 years including nine NCAA Championship appearances. The men have been in post season for the 14 of the past 17 years. It's a seriously competitive situation here!"

Calum Hill, who came here as a walk-on in 2012 finished 2nd in the NCAA Championship in 2016 and is a DP World Tour winner. We've had elite players on both the men's and women's teams for many years.

We try keep a good mix of junior college players, freshmen signees, and walk-ons. We want try to keep eight to 10 members on each team. This promotes competition, keeps everyone working, and makes the qualifying a little more interesting.

So how good do you have to be? For us to be successful as a top Division II program, our men need to average 72-74, with a sprinkling of under-par tournament scores and our women need to average 77-80 in tournaments."
