WNMU sophomore Haley Raymond fired a 3-over 75 to take the first round lead in the Sun Country Amateur Women's Championship Saturday in Socorro. The inaugural event is being contested over a difficult par-72 New Mexico Tech Golf Course. Tech is a difficult layout for most, but Raymond used her home course knowledge in the Championship as she calls Socorro home. Head football coach Adam Clark connected with another former St. Ambrose University coach to help complete his coaching staff. Ronnie McDougle, who will work with the defensive backs at WNMU, was with the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees for the 2007 season – the same season Clark was the team’s defensive coordinator. Most recently, McDougle was a graduate assistant at the University of South Dakota. But Tuesday he announced his new acting offensive coordinator, Nick Lucey, and today he added an offensive line coach.
