Sarah Byrne (Glendale, AZ, Cactus High School, New Mexico State University) has been named the RMAC Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Tuesday.
Byrne had five of the team's 14 home runs in the four-game sweep over Fort Lewis. Four of those home runs came in the first two games of the series. She finished the weekend with nine hits on 12 at-bats with no strikeouts. She also drew four walks (three intentional). She posted a .750 batting average with an .812 on-base percentage and 2.167 slugging percentage. Byrne also did six innings of pitching. She struck out three batters and gave up only two earned runs.
