WNMU sophomore golfer Faylyn Beyale (Fruitland, NM, Kirtland Central High School) has been named the RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week. This is WNMU's first RMAC award of the 2009-2010 season.

Beyale shot a tournament low 151 (75-76) in the first RMAC tournament of the season. RMAC #1 was held in Silver City. She earned her first collegiate victory, defeating the closest in the field by just one stroke.

Overall, the Mustangs won the tournament (311-308—619). They edged past Mesa State 14 strokes.
