Head coach Scott Woodard announced today that the Mustang softball team will add a utility infielder to their lineup for 2011. Sarah Hall will look to add talent to the softball team next season.
Hall attended Florence High School then continued to play ball at Glendale Community College for one season until she experienced a season-ending injury. Hall's athletic honors include the MVP award in 2003-2004 and All-Region First Team at Florence in 2007.
Academically, Hall is a stand out. In high school, she had a GPA of 4.3 and placed on the honor roll all four years. She was second in her class of 197 students. At Glendale, she maintained a 3.8 GPA. In 2009, she received her associate's degree. She was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Glendale.
“Sarah is very energetic and hard working. She has an attitude of 'I just want to play',” comments head coach Scott Woodard. “She has recently overcome a season-ending injury and wants more than anything to prove she can still play. I am willing to give her that chance.”
