Beyale Recognized At Tournament

 The National Golf Coaches Association announced the 2009-2010 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division II Women's Collegiate Golf. Winners were recognized at the NGCA Division II Awards Banquet held in Mesa, Arizona. WNMU's Faylyn Beyale (Fruitland, NM, Kirtland Central High School) was placed on the NGCA All-Central Region Team.
 
Beyale averaged 82.0 each round of play, 10-above par, this season. Her most impressive performance was at the NCAA Central Regional a few weeks ago where she finished tied for third (81-78-78 – 237).
 
The National Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The NGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the NGCA represents nearly 500 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
