Emily Lampman (Kerrville, TX, Tivy High School) and sophomore
Nikolina Vukadin (Pale, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sredwjoskolski Centar Pale) can add another honor to their resume. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Wednesday that both were placed on the RMAC Women's Tennis Second Team All-Academic.
At the end of April, Lampman, along with doubles partner
Stephanie Shelton (Douglas, AZ, Douglas High School), was selected to the All-RMAC Doubles Second Team. Lampman was also placed on the Singles Third Team.
Vukadin and her doubles partner
Doris Berberic (Lower Hutt, New Zealand, Hutt Valley High School) were placed on the Doubles First Team at the end of April. In addition, Vukadin was placed on the Singles First Team.
To qualify for Academic All-RMAC, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. The listed GPA is what the student-athletes had earned prior to tennis season beginning. RMAC Sports Information Directors at schools that sponsor the sport of tennis selected First and Second Team Academic All-RMAC.
