WNMU senior men's tennis student-athlete
Flavio Rueda (Mazatlan, Mexico, Universidad Autonoma de Durango, Riverside Community College) has been named the RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Wednesday.
Rueda went 5-0 at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles. Against Grand Canyon, he went 6-3, 6-3 before earning wins against four RMAC opponents (Colorado Christian, CSU-Pueblo, Nebraska-Kearney, MSU- Billings). At No. 2 doubles, Rueda teamed with
Kyle Lynch (Albuquerque, NM/New Mexico Military Institute High School) to go 5-0 in doubles. The duo defeated Grand Canyon (8-6), Colorado Christian (8-1), CSU-Pueblo (8-0), Nebraska-Kearney (9-7), and MSU-Billings (8-2).
