WNMU sophomore men's tennis student-athlete Kyle Lynch (Albuquerque, NM, New Mexico Military Institute High School) has been named the RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Wednesday. 

Lynch went 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles against nationally ranked teams. He helped the Mustangs go 3-0 last week, with wins over Grand Canyon (5-1), No. 36 Sonoma State (5-3), and No. 42 Cal Poly Pomona (5-4). In singles action, Lynch notched wins against CPP (6-2, 6-2), GCU (6-1, 6-0), and SSU (6-2, 6-1). In doubles play, he and partner Flavio Rueda (Mazatlan, Mexico/Universidad Autonoma de Durango) de¬feated their opponents 8-1 against No. 36 Sonoma State's No. 2 doubles, and No. 42 Cal Poly-Pomona's No. 2 doubles, 8-4. He teamed with senior Devin Stroman (Silver City, NM/Silver High School) in the No. 2 doubles 8-3 win over Grand Canyon.
