WNMU sophomore men's tennis student-athlete
Henning Thrien (Gelsenkirchen, Germany, Carl Friedrick Gaus Gymnasium, Hope International University) has been named the RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Wednesday.
Thrien had a dramatic win at No. 3 singles win over BYU-Hawaii to clinch the fifth point and win two weekends ago in Glendale, Arizona. He also went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles with teammate
Yair Banuelos (Mexico City, Mexico, Universidal del Valle de Mexico, Riverside Community College) against three national Top-20 opponents. As a team, the Mustangs started off the 2010 season with a 1-2 record.
