On Wednesday, redshirt freshman Juan Suarez (Nogales, AZ, Nogales High School) was named to the RMAC Men's Basketball All-Academic Honor Roll. Suarez has seen limited playing time this season but has excelled in the classroom. He has achieved a 3.69 grade point average prior to the basketball season while working towards his accounting degree.

To qualify for Academic All-RMAC, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. RMAC Sports Information Directors at schools that sponsor the sport of men's basketball selected First and Second Team Academic All-RMAC.
