Junior Audra Major (Socorro, NM, Socorro High School, Midland Community College) was the lone WNMU women's basketball player to be recognized by the RMAC Wednesday. Major earned a spot on the First Team All-West. This was Major's fourth RMAC honor this year. She also received two West Division Player of the Week nods and took up a spot on the RMAC First-Team All-Academic roster.

Major averaged 16.9 points in her 33:12 minutes a game, placing her fifth in the conference in scoring and sixth in the conference in minutes played. Major was also third in the conference in rebounding with 9.1 boards per game. Almost four of those boards came at the offensive end to lead the RMAC.

Overall, Major shot .522 percent from the floor and .784 from the charity stripe.

Throughout the season, Major posted seven double-doubles. Her best game came on WNMU's home court versus Grand Canyon University. She recorded 25 points and 18 rebounds in the victory.
