On Thursday, junior Scotty Crespin (Socorro, NM, Socorro High School) was named to the RMAC Football All-Academic First Team Offense. Seniors Jake Morales (Silver City, NM, Silver High School) and Jaime Trujillo (North Hollywood, CA, J.H.F. Polytechnic High School, Los Angeles Valley College) were placed on the Second Team. Crespin is the Mustangs' leading receiver, averaging 44 yards per game and 10.3 yards per reception. So far this season, he has tallied two touchdowns.

Playing in all seven games this season, Crespin's best game of the season came against Mesa State on September 19th when he caught seven passes for 93 yards. One of those passes was for a touchdown.
